A: There are plenty of factors to bear in mind – the overall amount of files, the size of the database, the complexity of the web site itself and the present workload of our website migration experts, etc. Even so, we do our best to carry out all web site migrations within a 48–hour time period. Smaller–sized web sites are transferred much faster – typically in under 24 hours.

A: We will need the login information for your current web hosting provider’s Control Panel as well as the site’s name (domain name).

A: Your site will continue to work just like it did before with your old hosting provider. After we are through with the migration, your website will be configured to work on our system and we’ll ask you to preview it. If it is working correctly, all you will need to do is modify the name server resource records for your domain name. Your website will be transferred to us with no downtime whatsoever.

A: No. Apart from your login details for the Control Panel, we will not need anything. We will never contact your web hosting provider. They won’t know anything about the transfer either.

A: We support all Linux–powered web hosting platforms. Essentially, if we can access your Control Panel, we will be able to transfer your web site.The only platforms that we don’t support are closed–source website creation platforms such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
