While creating and sending an email message is easy, managing your mailboxes could be problematic. The Mail Account Manager included in the Ekvi Hosting Control Panel is here to assist you with that. It sports a sleek interface via which you can quickly forward email messages, create email filters, enable unsolicited bulk email protection, etc.

If you have a mail client, we offer you some useful auto–config scripts – just download a file and it will configure your mail account automatically. You can also utilize our webmail client – it’s full–featured and you can access it from anywhere in the world.

Web file managers have been in existence for years. But they are clunky, sluggish, difficult to use and feature–poor. We have changed the situation. Our File Manager behaves more like a desktop file manager than a regular web file manager. You can upload files by dragging & dropping them, or move files and folders from one place to another. You can resort to our inbuilt source code editors and preview photos. You can archive and unarchive files or folders directly online.

And everything is done with just a mouse click.

Our Domains Manager is the only place you have to visit in order to administer your domain names. With just a couple of mouse clicks, you can redirect or park domains, edit WHOIS settings or change DNS resource records.

The best of all is that, when you’re done, you can instantaneously begin working on your website – you can upload new files, set up databases or install software applications. All thanks to the fact that all the tools are located in one Control Panel.

If you have to access a web site outside a firewall, or if you would like to browse the Internet incognito, then we’ve got the solution for you. It’s available in our Control Panel. With our VPN access service, you will be able to browse the web safely using your personal computer, netbook or mobile phone irrespective of where you are.

You can select the location of the VPN server yourself. We have data centers in different countries on different continents.

In the Ekvi Hosting Control Panel we have incorporated the ModSecurity Apache module. It’s a tiny module that does a marvelous job – it acts as a firewall for your web applications, safeguarding them against hacker assaults, cross–site scripting assaults and URL request forgeries. We’ve already specified the rules for the firewall module, so you do not have to configure it before it starts working.

And ModSecurity is enabled automatically for all your websites – as soon as they go live, they will be instantaneously protected. If you want, you can manually deactivate ModSecurity for any of your web sites.
